What You Will Do:
Senior Consultants have responsibility for client management, solution implementation and generation of project results. You will own project
workstreams and interact with clients regularly to ensure engagement success. Senior Consultants are expected to prepare and
communicate well-organized, effective analyses, reports, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

As an actuarial consultant focusing on Medicaid programs, you will ensure quality deliverables are created and validated in the following
areas:
• Capitation rate development,
• Valuation of Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) Estimates,
• Risk adjustment calculations of premium,
• Analysis of MLR and other financial reports,
• Development of budget projections,
• Creating data dashboarding to analyze emerging trends,
• Providing support to State Medicaid programs with legislative requests, and
• Other actuarial modeling as needed

this role, you will deepen your specialized industry knowledge and consulting skills, hone project management skills, leadership abilities, and
the aptitude for managing multiple workstreams, and in doing so will have the opportunity to progress to the Managing Consultant level.
What You Will Need:
- Completion of at least two actuarial exams, with intent and ability to progress to ASA or FSA
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Insurance, Mathematics, Risk Management, Statistics, or similar.
This person must have 3 years of work experience to include the following:
- Analysis and summarization of data using spreadsheets
- Knowledge of actuarial and statistical modeling techniques
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for communicating to leadership
- Occasional ability to travel.
What Would Be Nice to Have:
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Working knowledge of APMs (Alternate Payment Models) and/or VBP (Value-Based Payment) models in developing health claims projections
- Knowledge of risk adjustment methodologies
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to draw complex conclusions from data
- Knowledge of Business Analytics software such as PowerBI, Access, SAS or R, and/or SQL
- Self-starter with the ability to work individually as well as part of a team
The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
