We were there when the bankruptcy code was created in the United States and we have been working with management, investors, and creditors around the world ever since. You will join a team of AlixPartners professionals providing business, financial and strategic consulting advice to companies that are under-performing and/or highly leveraged.
You will work side by side with Directors and Managing Directors, many of whom have interim experience at executive level, providing you with top level insight and client interaction. You will make an impact by helping clients effectively address their challenges and support organizational excellence in ‘high stakes’ situations. We use our skills and experience to build measurable, better outcomes for clients facing a variety of high-impact situations – as such, we advise clients across industries and collaborate on projects that span all business functions.
Preferred locations are New York, Dallas, Houston or Chicago. Paid relocation is not available.

What You’ll Need
Solid problem solving and analytical skills
- Consultants will use their financial literacy skills to review clients’ operational and business models. Creatively identify and implement strategy initiatives for organizations and while making solid recommendations to clients.
- Working knowledge of 3 statement cash flow modeling and 13-week cash flow modeling is preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. An advanced understanding of finance and accounting concepts is critical
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding written communication skills in English, as consultants prepare client-ready documents and presentation materials
- Excellent English verbal communication capabilities. Concisely presents information, skilled at adapting the level of detail to the audience
- Extraordinary customer service and interpersonal skills. Consultants must act with confidence, maturity, and poise, given their regular interactions with senior executives
- Passion for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- High-energy, collaborative style, with a flexible and adaptive approach to client and team dynamics
- Openness for up to 100% travel Monday through Friday
- Demonstrated track record of success in educational and professional experiences
- Degree(s) in Accounting or Finance is required with a minimum GPA of 3.3/4.0
- Internship(s) with relevant experience in consulting, finance, professional services, business, or other analytically challenging roles
- 1+ year of professional work experience in related industry
What You Should Know About The Role
- You should also be willing to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
- You must be able to work full time in an office and in a remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday

Employees will also receive a generous paid leave policy including vacation/personal time starting at 5.67 hours per pay period, sick time up to 80 hours annually, parental leave and twelve holidays.
The salary range for this role takes into account a number of factors and is between $75,000 - $150,000 with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
