Work you’ll do

Perform functional testing, performance, unit testing and smoke testing on applications.
Work closely with business analysts and developers.
Read and analyze date, trace logs and debug and report on bugs.
Be involved in problem solving and client communication.
Mentor junior testers.

The GPS Human Services Transformation offering designs and implements large, complex systems development and transformation projects to Human Service agencies across federal, state, and local government agencies as well as higher education institutions. With end-users, customers, and workers at the center, we collaborate with our clients to deliver quality human services and work to support individuals in need. Some areas that we focus on include Children Services, Eligibility & Enrollment, Child Support Enforcement, and Labor & Workforce Development.

Required

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
10+ years of hands-on experience in Software testing and SDLC process.
Prior experience working on State public support projects.
Ability to live and work in Carson City, NV

Preferred

Functional testing, API testing and tools, performance testing and tools, bug tracking tools.
8+ years of experience in SQL DB2, JSON, and XML.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Hawaii, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, Washington state, and Washington, DC, and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,875 to $163,125

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
