YOUR ROLE
The Digital Operating Model team is part of Capgemini Invent’s growing Business Technology practice.
We are looking for talented individuals to join the team, and to support our clients to make the best choices about their digital operating models as well as get the best advice to make these come to life.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Work with C-suite and senior leadership teams to help them shape the digital operating models that will deliver their IT strategy and unlock value for Customers and for the Business, accelerate digital products delivery, improve partnership between Business and IT, promote technology-driven innovation, drive efficiencies and cost savings.
- Become a trusted advisor to your clients by leveraging and sharing your experience of similar work with other clients and industries, as well as challenging status quo and perceived barriers to change
- Influence operating model choices made by some of the largest Private and Public Sector organisations in the UK
- Lead and coach teams of Digital operating model practitioners to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients
Role
As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:
- Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
- Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
- Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for the following experience and core capabilities from our Managing Consultant-level candidates:
- Experience in delivering strategic digital technology advisory engagements and building trusting relationships with CIOs, CTOs and their leadership teams
- Experience working in complex FTSE100 environments and large Government organisations
- Experience with the definition and design of digital and product-led operating models across the core dimensions of an operating model (i.e. leadership and culture, processes and tooling, organisational structure, accountability and decision-making, performance management)
- Experience of applying frameworks and blueprints while demonstrating creativity and adaptability to each client’s particular needs.
- Experience of delivering an end-to-end digital operating model design project.
- Good knowledge of digital technology industry trends, including but not limited to: AI, GenAI, Agile at Scale, DevSecOps delivery, journey-to-cloud, edge computing, low code/no-code solution development, etc.
- Understanding of Service Management and SIAM, and some knowledge of ITIL
- Demonstration of core management consulting skills, including storyboarding, comparative analysis, written and oral presentation skills, gaining buy-in and the ability to quickly build productive and trusting relationships
