As a Generative AI (GenAI) Engineering Consultant, you'll be part of our Data & AI team within the Strategy & Consulting practice. In this role, you'll collaborate directly with clients in the Netherlands and occasionally abroad to shape their GenAI vision and implement AI-driven solutions. You'll act as both the technical expert and the strategic partner for your clients, ensuring that every project bridges the gap between technical innovation and strategic impact. Your work will span from defining GenAI roadmaps, specifying use-cases, advising on advanced GenAI architectures and integrating state-of-the-art technologies to building scalable, production-ready solutions tailored to client needs.
People
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through the adoption of GenAI technologies to address business challenges.
Build trust and long-term partnerships with stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business insights that drive long-term value.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment between client goals and delivered recommendations and solutions.
Processes
Identify, define and implement workflows that integrate GenAI systems into existing business processes to improve operational excellence.
Lead the design and development of end-to-end GenAI solutions, including data preparation, model development, and deployment.
Drive the operationalization of AI models, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with best practices.
Technology and Data
Stay at the forefront of GenAI advancements, integrating innovations into client projects to maintain competitive edges.
Design and implement scalable Generative AI solutions using the latest frameworks and cloud platforms.
Optimize the usage of large language models (LLMs) and other generative technologies for client-specific applications, such as content creation, customer interaction, and predictive analysis.

Here’s What You’ll Need
3+ years of experience in data science, data engineering or machine learning roles, on the intersection of business strategy and deploying scalable (Gen)AI solutions.
You have demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
A master’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Mathematics, or Engineering) with a focus on data and/or AI.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, and familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, or Hugging Face.
Strong understanding of machine learning techniques, with a particular focus on generative models (e.g., transformers, LLMs) and the transformer architecture.
Experience in building RAG systems in production environments.
Clear vision of use cases with GenAI across industries and functions.
Familiar with Git, DevOps principles, command line, Spark and Docker.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders.
Proven stakeholder management expertise, ensuring alignment and buy-in throughout the project lifecycle.
