Business Analyst
The Opportunity:
As a business analyst, you’re passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that’s modernizing cloud services for homeland security. You know the importance of best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need an experienced business analyst like you to create solutions that’ll support the client's mission.
On our team, you’ll coach a development team to their highest performance level while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You’ll ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders. Using tools like Jira and Confluence, you’ll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish spring planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
In this role, you’ll directly impact the client's mission by delivering cloud services. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in IT project management while successfully delivering project solutions that will improve providing highly available and security cloud services in support of the mission.

You Have:
- 4+ years of experience working as an IT Business Analyst
- Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria and structuring user stories for feature development
- Experience with modeling business processes, process analysis methodologies, or capturing requirements
- Experience leading requirements meetings or conduct requirements workshops and sessions with business and IT stakeholders
- Experience working in cross-functional, Agile teams to design large-scale digital experiences that meet business objectives
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Atlassian Suite such as Jira and Confluence
- Ability to work with development teams on generating documentation on functionality being delivered
- Ability to contribute to the preparation for and delivery of software system demonstrations to the user community
- Possession of excellent interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
- DHS Suitability
- SAFe or Agile certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
