A Senior Associate on the Corporate Communications team is an essential member of our account teams. A Senior Associate helps build strategic programs and communications initiatives to support Teneo's clients. This may include, but not be limited to, online and offline communications strategy, long-term and rapid response planning, and crisis management. A Senior Associate has experience in fields such as Corporate Strategy, Communications, Investor Relations, Government Affairs, and Public Relations. They will work with internal leaders to achieve outstanding service and function as a cohesive unit. Responsibilities include helping develop strategic communications plans and campaigns on behalf of clients; managing daily account work of producing and refining deliverables – including strategic plans, press releases, talking points, Q&A, briefing memos, distributed media materials, and others – and preparing Account Managers and Leaders for client engagements; assisting in the development, management, and execution of long-term investor relations programs for clients; collaborating closely with client account leaders to provide daily logistical and strategic support to clients; drafting and reviewing corporate communications materials (i.e., press releases, earnings and other conference call scripts, corporate presentations, Q&A sheets, websites, and messaging documents); conducting industry research and analysis, including peer monitoring and targeting analyses; developing client solutions while planning and prioritizing client activities to manage relationships effectively; supporting company-wide marketing materials and new business development initiatives; proactively identifying issues that will impact clients; maintaining news flow and earnings calendars as needed; managing the planning of conferences, Analyst/Investor Days, and other industry events. Qualifications include 5+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, media, investment banking, equity research, or investor relations; strong quantitative and analytical skills; proven written and face-to-face communication skills; Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook); project management skills with strong attention to detail; resourcefulness, team orientation, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit; ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and manage shifting priorities.
