Contracts Analyst
The Opportunity:
As a contracts analyst, you will help to develop contractual language to obtain the necessary data to support the mission for a 5th generation aircraft. This is an opportunity to impact our country’s defense acquisition and contract process.
On our team, you’ll draft full RFP packages, including identifying requirements, statement of objectives, statements of work, and negotiate intellectual property rights on behalf of the government. You’ll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates. From creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you’ll deliver meaningful acquisition support.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience in DoD, DON, USAF, or federal contract management or contract administration
- Experience with contracting statutes, regulations, and guidance
- Experience with requests for proposals, evaluations, and negotiations
- Experience with all types of contracts, the uniform contract line-item numbering system, and product or service code and identification
- Experience with intellectual property and data rights
- Experience with procurement and contracting writing system
- Experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications and tools
- Ability to analyze contracting and financial metrics
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Special Contracting Methods, Multiyear Procurement, Advance Procurement, Economic Order Quantity, Other Transaction Authority, and International Acquisition
- Experience with the NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS) or similar systems
- Experience supporting Acquisition Category (ACAT) or Business Category (BCAT) programs and non-ACAT programs
- Experience with the Defense Acquisition System (DAS) process, Congressional Enactment process, and Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) Pathways
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Possession of strong analytical, problem-solving, research, and organizational skills
- Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills
- DoD DAWIA, CFCM, or other Industry Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
