The Team
A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice focuses on serving upper middle market and large-cap private equity firms, helping improve financial and operating results at their portfolio companies. Within the PEPI practice, our carve-out experts advise Private Equity-owned portfolio companies in driving carve-outs to achieve significant operational change or performance improvement agendas.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, including carve-outs, performance improvement initiatives, and transformational delivery. Supported by the European PEPI team, you will contribute to delivering value to clients and driving operational excellence.
How you will contribute
- Manage rapid diagnostics through analytical and qualitative insights to identify opportunities for transforming a PE-owned organization’s performance.
- Develop and execute transformation plans tied closely to EBITDA and working capital improvement.
- Lead buy-side and sell-side carve-out projects, including defining the perimeter, assessing complexity, and managing costs and risks.
- Oversee post-acquisition carve-out implementation, including Day-1 preparation, TSA management, and transition to standalone operations.
- Ensure Operational Due Diligence (ODD) reports are realized in full, delivering growth, cost reduction, and quick wins.
- Drive 100-day planning processes, including merger integration and synergy realization.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited university.
- Extensive knowledge of delivering buy-side and sell-side carve-out services.
- Recent experience in delivering international operational change.
- Proven track record of leading teams and delivering major transformational assignments at pre- and post-deal stages.
- Strong understanding of the private equity lifecycle and relevant networks.
- Expertise in operational KPIs, balanced scorecards, and continuous improvement processes.
- Proficiency in Project Management Office (PMO) tools and change management methodologies.
- Fluency in French and English (native level), with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
