The CIC brings together many different innovation architecture organizations such as Accenture Research, Accenture Labs, Accenture Ventures, Innovation Centers, and multiple delivery studios, all delivering sales, and pipeline generating innovation and ideation sessions to our client account teams.

The CIC team, specifically, partners with Account Teams and Clients to understand the client’s objectives to tailor an engaging approach to deliver amazing outcomes for each unique opportunity at hand. The CIC Innovation Senior Analyst works closely with a CIC Engagement Lead to manage and drive origination, enabling sales, and supporting innovation deals and projects through the development and quality execution of innovation services (including workshops, co-creation, sprints, prototypes, demos, marketing events, and more). In this role, Innovation Senior Analysts are expected to be able to partner with our clients, our account teams, various SMAs across the Accenture network, and other counterparts such as Marketing, Workplace, Design Studios to execute on work.
Key Responsibilities
Design Thinking
Participate in creative innovation sessions that leverage Accenture’s innovation capabilities and design thinking
Leverage design thinking methodologies in client sessions and day-to-day to lead effective conversations and reach innovative solutions
Ask probing questions to understand the root need and expected outcomes and then craft an agenda leveraging fit-for-purpose activities to meet those needs and expectations
Read and manage the energy in the room, manage time, and make adjustments to the agenda as needed to ensure session goals and expectations are met
Leverage and understand virtual collaboration tools that can be used to better lead a session
Stakeholder Management
Effectively communicate with stakeholders and manage relationships
Clearly communicate timelines, deliverables, and expectations with session stakeholders to ensure alignment across groups
Recommend innovation capabilities and serve as a trusted advisor to client account teams and accounts
Clearly communicate the value and reason of certain actions and articulate them to stakeholders
Deliverables development
Produce client-ready materials, including by tapping creative studios and services that culminate in a polished experience across multiple mediums (in person, virtual, presented materials, demos)
Develop strategic deliverables focused on outcomes from sessions and conversations with clients
Create deliverables with a clear story line and a strategic lens that promotes additional innovation capabilities and offers insights into a session
Collaboration
Understand and train others on where the right resources can be found throughout our Accenture network
Understand and manage own bandwidth and offer additional capacity to team members based on demands
Sales origination, enablement, business development, and delivery
Provide support to business development, sales, and delivery teams in scoping new projects taking a one Accenture approach - including articulating the approach, deliverables, timeline, and resourcing requirements as part of innovation-focused deals.
Become an advocate for the CIC and clearly communicate the mission, value of the CICs
Build trusted relationships with clients, and account leaders
Be a go-to resource for information about CIS, our global network of Innovation Hubs, and their service offerings.
Be familiar with the latest in innovation, innovation network, driving innovation within accounts, and innovation services for clients, which help drive and enable account sales.
Basic Qualifications
You have at least 18 months of relevant experience working with design teams on multiple projects
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; however, we will consider relevant work experience in place of formal education
Preferred Qualifications
Strategic and analytical thinker with strong understanding of Accenture’s Innovation Capabilities and POCs
Experience in a client facing setting, facilitating workshops
Strong design acumen
Strong stakeholder management skills
Strong with PPT, proficiency with other Office tools

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.
