The 6 months internship is an opportunity to explore and understand the Performance & Technology practice with a focus on AI & Data. It would start when possible in 2025, would last six months and would be based in Paris (75008), with some travels in France mainly.
AI&Data Transformation Services
AI & Data expertise is now a crucial, established component in every AlixPartners project. AlixPartners’ AI & Data Practice is on a strong growth trajectory and is seeking consultants who enjoy applying digital and AI knowledge to solve companies’ most pressing challenges.
AI & GenAI
- Strategic identification and selection of AI technologies aligned with the client’s business objectives, data landscape, and transformation roadmap.
- Rapid prototyping and deployment of Generative AI use cases, including text summarization, synthetic data creation, and automated knowledge extraction.
- Integration of enterprise-grade LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral) into internal tools, applications, and decision-making workflows.
- Custom prompt engineering and model fine-tuning to optimize output quality, ensure alignment with governance standards, and deliver measurable business impact.
- Development of autonomous or human-in-the-loop AI agents to support decision-making across finance, procurement, legal, and operations functions.
Data & Technology
- Extraction, processing, and analysis of structured and unstructured data from corporate systems, third-party sources, and public datasets.
- Use of cloud-based processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Databricks) for scalable analysis of complex datasets.
- Design of multi-stage data pipelines combining scripted transformations with API-driven service integrations, leveraging cloud platforms such as MS Azure and AWS.
- Application of data science techniques (clustering, regression, NLP, anomaly detection, etc.) using Python to generate insights and drive automation.
- Development of clear, business-aligned dashboards and visualizations, and ability to communicate complex technical results to non-technical stakeholders.
What You’ll Need
- Excellent academic qualifications: Master’s, diploma, PhD, or equivalent degree (recently completed or soon to be completed).
- Initial relevant professional or consulting experience in AI (e.g., internship or working student role).
- Problem-solving oriented, entrepreneurial, and highly analytical personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and effectively on high impact teams. High energy style, flexible and adaptive, works well in a dynamic environment.
- Deep knowledge of working with data and technologies and proficiency in one or more data-focused programming languages such as Python.
- Experience with general programming languages such as JavaScript is an advantage.
- You demonstrate a keen personal interest in AI & Data and remain up to date in the latest trends and potential impacts on industry.
- You are passionate about driving effectiveness and enabling clients to achieve their business objectives.
- You have exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to build counselling relationships with clients and peers.
- Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
- Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.
