About the Role – L1: Associate
The L1 Associate is a dynamic market generalist who can quickly learn about & deliver deep insights in multiple industries. The Associate leads deep research into markets, competitive landscape, customers, and technologies. Associates also manage project workstreams, participate in client presentations on specialist subjects, and contribute to shaping the program's research strategy. The focus is on advancing market sector specialization and developing business and strategy skills while being adept at tracking & identifying growth opportunities across industries.
Associates usually take responsibility for managing a module of work (or a small project 1–2-member team. Associates interact with client teams and structure analyses to answer critical client questions. Key goals include developing expert status with the middle management level client staff. The position involves developing an in-depth understanding of various industries in which the individual would develop content internally and showcase our company’s expertise and opinions at external forums like client briefings, conferences, and media events.

Responsibilities
Will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Data Analytics Skill: Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets from various sources within various consulting and research projects (Analysed primary research interview data is an added advantage). Knowledge in SQL, PYTHON are added advantages.
- Reporting & Dashboarding: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI to present key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics, market dynamics, forecasting, etc. Good to know other visualization tools like DOMO, Tableau, Google Looker Studio, etc.
- Excellent secondary research skills- Candidates should be experienced in utilizing secondary research databases, such as Factiva, Bloomberg, Hovers, Capital IQ, etc, for profiling companies/industries, identifying marketing opportunities, etc.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, including experience with formulas, conditional formatting, pivot tables, etc.
- Prepare written final reports for each project and present key findings in analyst briefings to clients.
- Attention to detail and ability to notice small errors & make necessary corrections
- Help prepare various business development documents, marketing collaterals, white papers, etc.

- Preferable experience in key sectors that Frost focuses on will be an added advantage
- Manage key stakeholders by sector/practice area to ensure expectations are met/exceeded, timelines are heeded

Required Competencies
We’re looking for candidates who -
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration / management/ economics/finance/ Analytics/Engineering.
- At least of relevant experience to be considered; depending on the experience level, candidates can also be considered for other levels.
- L1 Associate: 0- 4 years
- Database knowledge is an added advantage (e.g. Bloomberg, Thomson Research, Reuters, Capital IQ, Hoovers, Perfect Information, Venture Source, One Stop, Factset, DialogPro, Factiva, etc)
- Superior analytic and critical thinking skills
