The Team
A&M’s M&A / Corporate Finance team is dedicated to delivering impactful results for founders, entrepreneurs, financial investors, and market-leading corporations across industries globally. Whether our clients are selling a business, raising capital, or acquiring companies or assets, our team provides expertise and guidance to support them throughout the process.
Our key services include:
- Mergers and acquisitions lead advisory.
- Selling businesses (M&A sell-side).
- Advising on acquisitions (M&A buy-side).
- Capital raising advisory.
- M&A strategic advisory.
- Restructuring investment banking and distressed M&A.
Joining this team means working closely with senior leaders in a fast-growing and dynamic Polish and CEE market, while collaborating with A&M’s global teams to deliver exceptional results.
How you will contribute
As an M&A / Corporate Finance Consultant, your responsibilities may include:
- Working on M&A transactions (both sell-side and buy-side) and other corporate finance projects for international corporations, large and medium-sized local enterprises, and private equity funds.
- Executing M&A projects, including preparing and ensuring the quality of client materials such as teasers, information memorandums (sector, market, and company analyses), financial models, valuations, term sheets, process letters, and sales meeting materials.
- Coordinating the due diligence process on the buyer's or seller's side and participating in deal negotiations.
- Managing A&M teams on M&A deals, including organizing workstreams, maintaining client contact, collaborating within A&M’s international structures, and presenting work results.
- Supporting deal origination by preparing proposals and meeting with potential clients to source M&A projects.
Qualifications
Education:
- MSc degree from an accredited top-tier university.
Experience:
- 6-12 years of prior experience in M&A lead advisory within investment banking, M&A boutique, or Big 4 firms.
Skills:
- Strong finance knowledge, including experience building or working with integrated financial models.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Well-developed communication skills and the ability to work with diverse and complex stakeholder groups.
- Analytical skills and structured thinking.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Languages:
- Fluency in Polish and English is essential.
Other Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to travel.
