This role is a high-impact position within the Founder’s Office, serving as a strategic engine and analytical hub for the Group. You will act as a force multiplier for leadership, translating complex market data and internal performance metrics into clear, decision-ready insights. Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial Planning & Performance Tracking
- FP&A Support: Drive financial planning and analysis across the Group’s portfolio to ensure alignment with long-term goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor business performance against established benchmarks; identify variances and proactively signal risks or opportunities to the Founder’s Office.
- Projection Refinement: Collaborate with business unit leads to challenge and refine financial assumptions, ensuring realistic and robust projections.
2. Market Intelligence & Feasibility Analysis
- Sector Research: Conduct deep-dive market research and competitive benchmarking across existing and emerging priority sectors.
- Feasibility Assessments: Lead the evaluation of new business lines through rigorous assessment of market size, unit economics, and risk landscapes.
- Strategic Synthesis: Convert raw research into structured, high-level recommendations that inform the Group’s expansion roadmap.
3. Investment Evaluation & Modeling
- Financial Modeling: Develop, maintain, and stress-test sophisticated financial models for new investments and existing business expansions.
- Due Diligence: Support the evaluation of potential partnerships and investment opportunities by analyzing strategic fit and long-term returns.
- Investment Briefs: Draft comprehensive investment memos and briefs that clearly outline the ROI, risk profile, and execution requirements.
4. Leadership Support & Executive Reporting
- Decision-Ready Outputs: Synthesize multi-source inputs into concise, actionable briefs, presentations, and executive summaries for the Founder and senior leadership.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure all reporting and board-level materials are high-fidelity, accurate, and aligned with the Group’s core priorities.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination & Project Management
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a bridge between the Founder’s Office, Finance, Business Heads, and Shared Services.
- Initiative Tracking: Oversee the progress of critical projects, ensuring deadlines are met and cross-departmental bottlenecks are resolved.
- Internal Alignment: Facilitate communication across teams to ensure that strategic initiatives are being executed uniformly across the Group.
Education & Professional Qualifications
Academic Background:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or Engineering from a reputable institution.
- A Master’s degree (MSc) or MBA is highly preferred, particularly with a focus on Finance or Strategy.
Professional Certifications:
- Membership or progression in a recognized professional body such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), ICAN/ACCA, or CIMA is a significant advantage.
- Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) or Advanced Financial Modeling are highly valued.
Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel for complex modeling and PowerPoint for executive-level presentations) and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) or ERP systems is a plus.
