About The Role
At GEP, we develop our Business Network platform to help companies exchange invoices and other business documents electronically across international markets.
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who combines business understanding, solution design, and hands-on data analysis. Working closely with Product Managers and R&D, you will analyze country-specific e-invoicing and compliance requirements and determine how to address them through our existing platform - or where new capabilities are needed.
You will independently drive analysis of assigned topics, evaluate solution options, and translate complex requirements into practical specifications. Your focus will be on designing solutions that meet local requirements while reusing and strengthening our capabilities across multiple countries.
Prior e-invoicing or compliance expertise is beneficial but not required. We provide training in our platform, solutions, and compliance domain.
What You Will Do
- Analyze business processes and country-specific e-invoicing and reporting requirements, including Continuous Transaction Controls (CTC).
- Compare new requirements with existing platform capabilities, identifying gaps and opportunities for reuse, configuration, or extension.
- Shape functional solutions with R&D, covering end-to-end processes, integrations, data flows, validation rules, and exception handling.
- Analyze structured data, sample business documents, and system outputs to identify inconsistencies, clarify data mapping requirements, and validate proposed solutions.
- Translate findings into clear functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria, maintaining practical documentation in Jira and Confluence.
- Evaluate alternative solutions and communicate their business impact, dependencies, and trade-offs to Product Managers and technical stakeholders.
- Support development, testing, and handover to implementation and support teams, resolving questions and ensuring the delivered solution meets agreed requirements.
What You Bring
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, data analysis, solution analysis or project management, or a similar role supporting software products, integrations or coordination related.
- Proven experience translating business requirements into functional solution designs—not only documenting needs but assessing how they can be addressed.
- Practical data analysis skills, including investigating inconsistencies, identifying patterns, and drawing clear, evidence-based conclusions.
- An understanding of system integrations, APIs, and structured data formats such as XML or JSON.
- The ability to work independently, structure unfamiliar topics, identify gaps, and build alignment across business and technical teams.
- Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and produce precise, usable documentation.
Nice To Have - Not Required
- Experience with WebMethods and/or Node.js.
- Familiarity with SQL, data mapping, transformation tools, or API testing tools.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and agile software development.
- Knowledge of e-invoicing, CTC, procurement, SaaS platforms, or electronic document exchange.
What We Offer
- A role with clear ownership and the opportunity to shape international product capabilities and reusable solutions.
- Close collaboration with experienced Product Managers, analysts, and R&D teams.
- Training in our platform and compliance domain, with opportunities to deepen your technical and solution design expertise.
- A hybrid working model combining flexibility with regular collaboration in our Toruń office.
