The Senior Business Consultant role offers an opportunity to contribute to consulting engagements covering market research, business strategy, policy advisory, and business expansion. Based in Hanoi, the position works with corporate and public-sector stakeholders to develop practical insights, assess emerging opportunities, and support projects from research through delivery.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to consulting engagements from research through project delivery, ensuring outputs are practical, insightful, and aligned with client objectives
- Gather and analyse market, industry, and competitor intelligence through secondary research and stakeholder interviews
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between project teams, clients, government authorities, business partners, and other relevant stakeholders
- Support the preparation and delivery of business meetings, workshops, presentations, and consultation sessions
- Assist in developing strategic recommendations and business insights for corporate and public-sector initiatives
- Identify and assess potential business opportunities, partnerships, and investment projects across key industries
- Monitor market trends and emerging developments in sectors including healthcare, sustainability, infrastructure, energy, and digital innovation
- Support business expansion activities, including market exploration and relationship building with prospective clients and partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline
- Previous experience in consulting, strategy, market research, business development, investment promotion, or a related professional environment
- Excellent research, analytical, and information-synthesis skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with private- and public-sector stakeholders
- Strong organisational, reporting, documentation, and project coordination capabilities
- Self-driven, intellectually curious, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn quickly, with a proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills
- Business-level communication skills in English or Japanese
