Mercer is seeking candidates for the position to join us as a Senior Consultant in the HR M&A and Change Management environment, that operates in our M&A Practice, supporting our clients in the design and implementation of the people, culture and change management agenda during Merger & Acquisition Transactions.

We will count on you to:
- As a Senior Consultant, you will be asked to manage small and mid-scale M&A projects and to drive the execution of complex projects being responsible for specific tasks – in terms of quality and timing.
- Under the supervision of the M&A Leader, in close collaboration with the Financial Services Industry vertical and in direct contact with the PEMA – Private Equity and M&A team at MMC (Mercer, Marsh, Oliver Wyman) you will participate in the pre-transaction, transaction and post transaction activities with a specific “people” and HR focus.
- You will support Change Management and communications; assist in the implementation of change management strategies related to M&A. This includes organizational change and impact assessments, creating holistic change management programs, managing stakeholder and employee engagement and delivering effective internal and external communications.
- You’ll be immersed in a fast pacing and growing environment, in direct contact with many stakeholders both internal and external to Mercer and MMC.
- You will also support the client-facing business development activities as assigned such as researching clients, development of prospects, offering proposals and Engagement and assist in identifying and closing on value added opportunities for the client throughout the M&A engagement.
What you need to have:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a consulting and/or industry role, including HR Due diligence, change management initiatives, organizational design and development, HR strategy or operations, and /or talent solutions;
- Experience supporting and/or delivering Human Capital M&A projects; including restructuring, enterprise cost reduction, due diligence, assessment of transaction risks, target screening, integration planning and execution, and/or post-merger integration;
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR functions & processes, with experience in one or more of the following areas: HR Mergers & Acquisition (M&A), HR Due Diligence, HR Strategy, HR Employee Experience, HR Operating Models, HR Outsourcing Advisory, Rewards/Compensation, and HR Technology;
- Experience supporting workshops, large meetings, or presentations to Senior Leaders,
- Ability to execute a project plan, managing to deadlines and paying acute attention to detail;
- Demonstrated strong business acumen and ability to work effectively across teams, levels and varying cultures;
- Italian and English fluency:
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint), data analysis (MS Excel, Tableau, or SQL) and report writing.
