Role Overview
Solutions Consultants play an exciting role in shaping analytics at HealthScape by developing and deploying cutting-edge capabilities to clients across the healthcare industry. Solutions consultants develop analytics for client-facing solutions and focus their effort on defining data needs, evaluating data quality, and executing analyses while also supporting the ongoing use of developed analytics for client solution offering maturation, including documentation generation, code enhancements and maintenance, and colleague training.
Responsibilities
- Aid in collecting, ingesting, managing, analyzing, and summarizinglarge and disparate data sets using multiple tools and consoles.
- Engage inefforts to design, build, deploy, and maintain analytic artifacts including data models, code scripts, visualizations, dashboards, and advanced analytic models.
- Support development of insightful narratives and presentations to connectinganalytic findings to business value.
- Effectively communicate analytic processes, resultsand impact tointernal and client stakeholders, both technical and non-technical (e.g., business).
- Lead documentation development reflective ofanalytic processes and outputs.
- Ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of client information for yourself and the team.
- Continually develop technical analytic skills to support the advancing and evolving capabilities of HealthScape Advisors.
- Support the continued development of data and analytics culture across HealthScape Advisors through knowledge share, cross-functional training, and mentorship.
Qualifications and Desired Skills
- 2-3 years of analytics experience, healthcare experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative or technology-related field of study (e.g., Business, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, or Informatics).
- Previous experience executing analytics with programming languagessuch as SQL, Python, Snowpark, dbt, Jupyter Notebooks, R, and Git.
- Previousexperience with cloud data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, or Big Query. We are a Snowflake shop and Snowflake experience is greatly preferred.
- Previous experience with various cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure.
- Strong analytic skills including ability to apply quantitative and statistical techniques to unstructured problems.
- Visualization development expertise (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Sound critical thinking and problem-solving skills including ability to identify, assess, and solve problems in a fast paced, dynamic environment using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – possessing the ability to communicate and deliver complex analytics information to clients and executive audiences.
- Enthusiasm to navigate and continue learning in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability and interest to travel to clients as needed; estimated travel is less than 20%.
