Business Analyst
Key Role:
Serve as a Business Analyst for the People Relations and Compliance team with a focus in the Core Human Resources process areas across our People Services organization and the company. Provide technology expertise to People Services staff, as well as their secondary clients regarding Human Capital Management (HCM), case management tool operational functionality, and future initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure HCM and case management is aligned and supporting the processes, optimized for experience, and functionality is understood and used effectively. Work with Enterprise Technology Shared Services (ETSS) and People Services, People Relations, and Compliance teams to assess processes, provide expertise using process optimization methodology to ensure continuous improvement, and partner to create scalable results. Participate in requirements gathering, assist in creation of test scenarios, and perform testing. Participate in projects to drive optimization. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a business analyst
- Experience with building requirements and testing within HCM systems and Case Management Tool systems
- Experience with process mapping tools, including documenting system and non-system processes in process flow diagrams
- Experience with test case development and test execution
- Experience using process optimization methodologies to improve and streamline
- Experience conducting process design and re-engineering of processes
- Knowledge of HR processes and technology
- Bachelor's degree
- Process Optimization Certification such as Lean Six Sigma Belt Certification
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Workday HCM
- Experience with process mapping tools such as Visio or iGrafx
- Experience with case management tools such as ServiceNow, IBM, or Convercent
- Knowledge of emerging HCM technology platforms compatible with Workday
- Ability to apply situational awareness, rapidly process and assimilate data, and quickly respond to a changing environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholder audiences and deliver client-ready presentations
- Ability to understand end-user needs and establish rapport with stakeholders and the user-community
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
