What You’ll Do
As a TPM Senior Consultant at Clarkston, you will:
- Partner with top consumer goods companies to design and execute improvements across the entire Trade Promotion Management lifecycle, including Annual Planning, Budgeting, Customer Planning, Retail Execution, Settlements, Measuring & Reporting, and Category Optimization
- Share best practices, industry knowledge, and personal expertise to educate both clients and fellow consultants in formal and ad hoc settings
- Convert business processes into functional requirements, recommend current technology solutions, and assess software vendors based on organizational needs
- Leverage your experience with one or more trade systems (e.g., Exceedra, Demantra, AFS, CAS etc.) to facilitate all aspects of a TPM implementation
- Earn trusted client status and build relationships that extend beyond the project’s lifecycle
- Train and support end-users, sharing best practices and ensuring smooth transitions to new processes and systems

What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience working in the Trade Promotion Management space
- Strong understanding and experience with trade processes including deductions, settlements, trade check requests, trade accruals, and trade finance (interfaces, reporting, etc.)
- Flexibility and adaptability – our consultants work across various aspects of the trade process, including process and technology initiatives
- Direct experience with TPM systems such as Exceedra, Demantra, AFS, CAS, etc.
- 4 year degree from an accredited college or university
Travel Requirement
Travel is an integral part of this role and is estimated to average 30-50%. This may vary based upon client and project needs. When not traveling, consultants work from their home office. Relocation is not required.
