The Strategic Change and Transformation Lead leads a coordinated approach to strategic and transformational change across our client's strategic initiatives to facilitate successful delivery of university-wide strategic outcomes. This role will lead a cross functional team of change managers, business analysts and trainers to deliver the transformation and change activities across the ERP Workday program. This role supports the alignment of service design and operating model models with the workday solution to ensure the future business processes and strategic objectives are realised.
Major Functions and Expected Outcomes
Strategic Leadership
- Lead ERP change strategy development with University leaders to align with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with C-level executives to prioritise finance transformation initiatives.
- Provide thought leadership on change management and operating model best practices.
Program Management
- Oversee planning, execution, and coordination of operating model and change activities, ensuring they stay on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
- Manage project teams, both internal and external, to achieve transformation goals.
- Develop and track KPIs to measure success.
- Manage statements of work for change, training, communication, and operating model activities.
Change Management and Training
- Lead cross-functional change and transformation efforts, aligning with functional leads.
- Coordinate business readiness activities with University leaders.
- Manage communication and engagement strategies across the program.
- Provide regular advice on schedules, sequencing, and training activities.
- Support the implementation of change with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure consistency of training materials and support artifacts for go-live.
Operating Model and Service Design
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT Transformation Leads to ensure consistent service and operating model design.
- Recommend operating model changes for best practices.
- Oversee operating model planning and execution to ensure effective change, training, and engagement.
- Adopt Business Process Management for system and process alignment.
- Align with the Operating Model Program for future designs.
- Lead service management model design and implementation in collaboration with functional teams.
Experience
A minimum of 15 years’ experience in a complex large multi-functional organisation
- Demonstrated experience in uplifting an enterprise-wide change practice.
- Experience successfully leading change and transformation in large scale transformation programs
- Experience delivering harmonised best practice change with compelling and actionable insights for operating model, service design and change management
- Experience implementing communications plans for large scale transformations
- Experience in coaching senior stakeholders to uplift change leadership.
- Experience in applying digital change management tools.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating a cross-functional groups to achieve outcomes.
