Job Overview
Due to a recent award we are looking for a management consultant to be based in any of our Perth, Brisbane, or Sydney offices. You will play a key role in helping to achieve efficiency and solve organisational problems, and study organisational structures, methods, systems, and procedures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and ensure all technical aspects meet our high standards. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in projects from inception to completion and make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project plans, including objectives, deliverables, schedules, and budget estimates.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Assisting and encouraging the development of objectives, strategies and plans aimed at achieving customer satisfaction and the efficient use of organisations' resources
- Discussing business and organisational shortcomings with clients
- Analysing and evaluating current systems and structures
- Reviewing systems with Opps and analysing systems for all departments
- Leading clients towards more efficient commercial outcomes
- Directing work studies by analysing existing claims, commercial liabilities, and procedures
- Documenting and reviewing organisations' workflow and organisations procedures
- Preparing high level well written reports for the purpose of cost analysis, programme schedules and milestones
- Give recommendations, issuing revised instructions and procedure protocols, and drafting docs
- Analysing operating codes and procedures and working with all of departures from procedures and standards
- Oversee project progress, managing adjustments as needed to meet project goals.
- Perform technical analysis, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure that all health, safety, and quality standards are maintained.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, project management, construction management, commerce or a related business field.
- experience in project management, management consulting preferably in private business
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and lead project teams.
