About the job:
As a Finance Operations Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to establish and implement a culture of continuous process improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
Your Tasks:
- Lead the Triage and Investigation of queries:
Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve existing or new queries in a timely and efficient manner.
Develop and maintain comprehensive process manuals outlining the finance operations procedures.
- Adhere to Month End & Qtr End Reporting:
Ensure compliance with Month-End and Quarter-End reporting requirements within agreed deadlines, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Continuous Process Improvement:
Actively participate in process improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to optimise workflow efficiency.
- Client Relationship Management:
Acting as a point of contact for finance-related queries and building trust through transparent and effective communication.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize financial software and tools to analyze data, generate reports, and provide insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Cross-functional collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments such as IT, UW, Ops and Claims to ensure seamless integration of finance operations with other organizational functions.
Assist with interim and year-end audit needed.
About you:
Experience Required:
- Previous work experience in insurance sector and in analytical or operational role
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of insurance policy adminstration sysetm e.g Eclipse
- Understanding of data visualization and reporting e.g Power Bi
- Jira

- Able to understand, analyse and manipulate large amounts of financial data.
- Strong reconciliation skills - ability to deep dive and analyse data.
- Excellent Excel working with complex formulae/tables.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work independent of process maps and documentation.
- Inquisitive mind set, able to drill into the detail while understanding the bigger picture to bring solutions to any potential issue.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies
