Position Title: Grant Management, Financial Consultant (Contract)

Contract Services Requested:
AMC seeks a freelancer to provide financial oversight and guidance. This contractor will provide internal consulting to our post-award grants management client services team and provide consulting and services directly to clients. Qualifications include experience with post-award management for government grants (state and federal); advanced knowledge of GAAP, a high proficiency in working in Excel; advanced knowledge of Universal Grant Guidance, and at least 5 years of relevant experience applying this knowledge as a grant recipient, program officer, grant manager, or a consultant.
- Advise clients and internal staff on compliance and financial aspects of grant management;
- Attend client meetings and meetings with program officers (FPOs) to provide guidance and oversight to the client;
- Create Excel worksheets and pivot tables to facilitate data collection and reporting;
- Request information from clients and compile this information to complete quarterly reports for funders (state and federal agencies);
- Advise clients and internal team members on accounting practices for grant management;
- Advise and provide training and support to internal team members on administrative duties, including but not limited to auditing financial records and good recordkeeping practices;
- Other services as requested.
Compensation and Benefits:
This contract position has an hourly pay range of $55-$85/hour.
