Role Overview
Associate Consultants are integral members of our consulting teams, generally working on a single engagement to meet client needs while under the direction of and collaborating closely with Consultants, Engagement Managers and Partners. Associate Consultants are responsible for effectively planning and managing distinct segments of work, while acting as a valued contributor to the team. Our project teams usually consist of 3-4 members and client engagements often span 3-6 months in duration.
Responsibilities
lDefine analytic approaches, integrating multiple analyses, and develop analytic understanding of client problems to identify issues and opportunities to motivate client action
lGather and refine complex data sets and data sources to enable accurate and robust quantitative analyses
lProvide insight into hypotheses under consideration and contribute to team's understanding of client's overall problem and potential solutions
lCreate elegant, multi-issue client communications, present analytic findings and recommendations, and field client questions with minimal support
lDraw upon healthcare knowledge, trends, and experiences to highlight relevant implications for clients
lEffectively engage with client leaders to facilitate organized teams, ensure meaningful results are achieved, and build ongoing relationships
lProactively work to create an energizing team environment
lContribute to knowledge sharing and team development
Qualifications and Desired Skills
l2+ years of healthcare consulting experience is required
lAdvanced degree preferred (e.g., MHA, MPH, etc.)
lDemonstrated collaboration, project management, problem-solving, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
lStrong critical thinking skills; ability to develop solutions that address client needs
lSuccinct communicator who thinks well on feet and tailors communication to audience
lComfortable manipulating and synthesizing data
lExperience working and leading in a team environment
lHighly knowledgeable about healthcare landscape and current trends in healthcare
lGenuine passion for and commitment to the transformation of healthcare delivery
lResponds well to and enjoys change; works well under pressure
lFlexibility to travel is required
Salary range: $100,000-$125,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs. In addition, Chartis offers several benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, disability insurance, life insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, wellness stipend, and additional voluntary benefits.
