Industry and strategic focus areas
We have a strong exposure to deals work and we are looking to grow and develop our business in deal-related work further, including both Commercial Due Diligence (CDDs) and Operational Due Diligence (ODDs), but also value creation plans, and strategy development projects.
Role
As a Senior Associate or Manager, you will be working alongside Strategy& partners and teams and with a range of PwC professionals in Deals and other competencies to help our clients solve their complex business issues. You play a key role in execution of projects and in pursuing a pipeline of new opportunities, including client development. Your primary focus will be on Spanish projects, which do occasionally require travel in Europe.
Qualifications and capabilities
The preferred candidates for Senior Associate and Manager positions possess the following characteristics:
· 3-6 years of relevant work experience from strategy consultancy, showing progressive/promotion and academic achievement
· Experience with deals-related projects (preferably both during DDs)
· Good understanding of the drivers of value creation in a PE setting: revenue growth, margin improvement, reduction in capital intensity, etc.
· Strong ability to structure and solve complex quantitative and qualitative problems leveraging hypothesis-based problem solving
· Well-developed written and oral communications skills and ability to communicate with senior clients
· Drive and motivation to guide professional development of juniors and to contribute to the Strategy& Spain team as a whole
· Ability to work effectively with people at all levels within Strategy& and PwC
· For manager level, strong ability to “lead the work” from start to finish with minimal guidance
· A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish is a prerequisite, as is the ability to communicate with impact across diverse groups when dealing with complex concepts. This will require candidates to be energized, highly motivated, articulate, and analytical. Our deals work covers multiple industries, so no specific industry expertise is required
