Title: Research Analyst
A leading media company is seeking a Research Analyst for a freelance contractor role based in NYC.
Duration: 12/1/25 - 4/24/26
Hybrid: in office Monday -Thursday (Friday remote)
Rate: $25-33 (DOE)
This entry-level position is focused on delivering cross-platform campaign measurement and insights for major 2026 sporting events. The Analyst will analyze advertising campaign effectiveness, track sponsorship results, and communicate findings through reports and presentations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Gathering and analyzing data from research tools, dashboards, and files across linear, streaming, and social platforms
- Creating compelling PowerPoint presentations to share insights and recommendations
- Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure accurate campaign measurement
- Supporting team priorities and initiatives for key tentpole events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods (survey design, data analysis)
- Preferred experience in media, advertising agencies, or research vendors
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with attribution measurement partners a plus (i.e Kantar, Dynata, EDO, Marketcast)
