Position Description
The role of the Senior Manager is to apply strategic consulting expertise in the areas of purchasing, supply chain management, business process outsourcing and technology to take GEP to the next level. You will help drive our services and shape the future of our company!
Primary Responsibilities
- Contributing to the development and execution of the global strategy for the procurement consultancy practice
- Leading transformation and change management initiatives, including operating model design and process re-engineering
- Championing GEP’s digital and AI agenda, embedding new ways of working aligned to the GEP roadmap and strategic ambition
- Owning client relationships and satisfaction levels across cost, SLAs, and transformation objectives
- Engaging and managing C-Suite stakeholders
- Contributing to team understanding of client culture, procurement requirements, and business goals
- Managing large-scale S2P programmes or workstreams
- Leading and developing the Prague consulting team
- Leading team thinking and efforts to ensure programme objectives are consistently achieved
- Identifying new business opportunities and supporting the Programme Manager/BD in efforts to expand client relationships
- Developing sourcing strategies and processes in line with client business goals and policies
- Interfacing with clients to understand their sourcing and procurement requirements
- Developing sound recommendations contributing to programme objectives (cost savings, SLAs, transformation)
- Creatively using data sources to develop fact-based recommendations and complex analyses
- Delivering presentations and communicating confidently with the client
Requirements
- 8+ years of management consulting experience OR a combination of consultancy and industry experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Outstanding client management skills
- Business problem solving skills with strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Business Development potential
- Ability to travel 40% of the time
- Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies such as TQM, Six Sigma, APEX etc., a PLUS
