Within the Business Enablement Collective, a pillar of the CoE IT Tower, the Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of business processes, excellent communication skills, and a keen ability to analyze and document requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
- Identify, analyze, and document user stories and features.
- Elicit and document business requirements, processes, and flows.
- Translate business requirements into specific technical solutions and viceversa.
- Agile Methodology:
- Work in small agile teams within the Business Enablement Collective.
- Document acceptance criteria in the form of user stories.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to reduce resistance and ensure alignment.
- Process Improvement:
- Review impacted business processes and identify opportunities forimprovement.
- Work with stakeholders to implement changes that result in cost savings, higher quality, increased efficiencies, lower risk, and shorter cycle times.
- Support and Analysis:
- Monitor and provide support to end users and stakeholders.
- Identify, analyze, and document production defects.
- Monitor usage patterns and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Make recommendations on best practices for process and system improvements.
- Project Transition:
- Help transition projects to business as usual (BAU) and set up a process for ongoing support.
By working within the Business Enablement Collective, the Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring that IT solutions effectively support business objectives and drive value.
About you:
Experience Required:
- At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, software development, or related field.
- Experience within a software development environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to drive projects forward and organize meetings.
- Ability to write user stories with strong acceptance criteria.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders.
- Critical thinking skills and an open-minded mentality for new ideas.
- Software development skills is a plus, including testing and designing.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Data analysis and mapping skills.
- Experience with SQL, ability to create basic queries.
- Proficiency in text editors and Jira for documentation.

- Experience in the insurance or Banking business or systems
