About Economic Analytics:
The Economic Analytics division is responsible for in-depth macroeconomic research and analysis and growth opportunity identification. Comprising of a team of skilled economists, the team tracks global economic trends, translates complex economic developments into actionable insights, and builds compelling data models. The division caters to global clients through syndicated research reports and bespoke consulting assignments. The Economic Analytics team closely collaborates with internal industry practices, merging economic and industry expertise to address client challenges.
About the Role:
As a Research Analyst within the Economic Analytics division, you will play a pivotal role in creating country profiles, thematic reports, and delivering advisory projects. You will undertake data forecasting and modelling activities for high-frequency indicators and industry indicators. In addition, you will also support content development for client briefings- both public and private- with opportunity to present to clients as you progress. The role involves collaboration with team members for in-depth analysis, while also interacting with stakeholders from other teams to deliver client solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Routinely monitor the global economy to provide insightful and strategic analysis
- Author macroeconomic research for syndicated reports and consulting projects
- Track real-time topics such as Trump 2.0 and geopolitical conflicts to deliver compelling insights
- Collate and analyze data and trends to identify economic growth opportunities
- Produce defensible forecasts based on historical data, real-time trends, and future expectations
- Work with in-house forecasting models and approaches
- Leverage methodologies including input-output approach, regression, and correlation analysis
