The Role
As a Senior Consultant in our Canberra Office, you will be part of a team directly engaging with clients, reporting to a Senior Manager or Principal/Director. You will understand the client’s operational challenges and collaborate to develop tailored solutions. Your role may involve directly supporting the client and their team through successful implementation.
What to Expect
- Engage directly with clients to understand their operational issues and challenges
- Collaborate with the team to develop contemporary, tailored solutions
- Utilise core consulting skills including research, analysis, facilitation, presentation, and attention to detail
- Opportunities for professional and personal development through structured training, collaboration, exposure to industry leaders, and learning by doing
- Primarily an office-based role with flexibility to work remotely as deemed appropriate
About you
We are looking for someone with a desire to make a real difference. Someone who sees a problem, leans into the problem, and then can think creatively and critically to solve it.
Essential Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Business/Finance or Engineering
- 1-3 years consulting experience in a similar role
- Prior experience working on process improvement or process reengineering projects
- Advanced diagrammatic and analysis skills, including advanced Excel skills
- Proven ability to build rapport and develop productive relationships with stakeholders
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and discipline
