We're looking for a passionate Junior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Sydney on an exciting 6-month contract. In this role, you'll be at the heart of delivering impactful IT projects, collaborating with key stakeholders, and helping to shape business processes through insightful analysis.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse and document business needs, translating them into clear, actionable specifications for IT teams.
- Solution Design & Evaluation: Support IT solution design to align with business objectives, assessing proposed solutions for value and compliance with requirements.
- Data Analysis & Modelling: Analyse data trends, create models, and develop visualisations to guide decision-making.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain documentation such as business cases, process maps, and training materials. Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure solutions meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, while identifying and mitigating risks.
- Continuous Improvement: Review workflows to identify inefficiencies, suggest enhancements, and stay updated on industry trends.
- Testing & Validation: Develop use cases, coordinate testing efforts, and manage defect resolution.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally from a legal, consulting or professional services background.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business analysis, including requirements elicitation, process analysis, and solution design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Proficient in business analysis tools, process modelling software, and project management software.
- Excellent problem troubleshooting and solving ability
