The Role
You’ll join a team that owns the Group’s Strategy & Planning function and is responsible for the development and stewardship of the overall business strategy and 5-year plan. You'll also contribute across M&A, Corporate Development, Strategic/Capital Projects, Funding & Allocation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Development & assessment of Group financial model underpinning 5yr plan.
- 5yr group P+L, cashflow & balance sheet forecasts and the supporting financial models.
- Long term business strategy and planning, including capital allocation.
- Financial and analytical assessment of major capital projects and other special projects.
- Support M&A, Corporate Development and Strategic Projects.
- Ad-hoc financial modelling support, tasks and projects
The Successful Candidate
To be successful in the role you’ll have the following skills/experiences:
- CA/CPA/CFA qualified.
- Investment banking, valuations or transaction services experience
- Demonstrated ability to assess the feasibility of capital projects, M&A/Corp transactions, and drive execution.
- Ability to navigate a complex business environment and influence/present results to Senior Leadership.
- Ability to utilise complex financial data to assess business strengths and weakness.
- Well organised with exceptional communications skills.
